Marco Shuttle
( Vidd ) - Dj - Treviso - Italy

Marco Shuttle hails from Treviso, a small city near Venice (Italy), and has been involved in the local underground club scene since he was 15, as a promoter and then as a DJ.
After travelling to London to gain his MA in Fashion at St Martin’s, he became involved in London’s clubbing scene as a DJ including a residency at the legendary Süd Electronic parties, where he played alongside artists he massively respected such as Daniel Bell, Cassy and Move D to name a few. He also ran his own Techno party - a popular Sunday afternoon/evening session at Cafe 1001.
Owing to his more visual background, Marco considers his musical style to be constructed with an aesthetic approach. He has been deeply inspired by
Detroit Techno and electro, acid house, New York deep house and garage
and electronica.
His own productions are usually very deep and dark and often tend to have strong percussive elements with dry electronic sounds and groovy basslines.
Although Marco loves house music, he considers myself more and more of a techno head, which is certainly audible in his production style.
His first release, Numash, was on Minisketch, but the following release
‘Dontlaughatme’ on Serialisme records in 2008 gained him more attention. Following a couple of split EP appearances, his next release came out in January 2009 on the London-based label brut! (www.myspace.com/brutrecords).
More recently still, in January of 2011, his latest EP, ‘The Vox Attitude’ was released on the Swedish label Vidd, distributed by clone, and received strong positive reactions and widespread chart positions from the likes of Morphosis (Ra.h), Steffi, Efdemin and more. With more work in the pipeline, this upward trend looks set to continue.
